Welcome

I am delighted to introduce you to Groombridge St Thomas Church of England Primary School.  We are a small, friendly primary school situated in the heart of the village of Groombridge, on the border between East Sussex/Kent. In September 2025, we became part of the Pioneer Federation and work in partnership with seven other small village schools. 

Our vision is to aspire for excellence in every area to enable children to flourish and fulfil their potential, leaving us as well-rounded and confident individuals.

Our school vision: 'Flourishing in the love of God, we love others as ourselves.'

We want all of our pupils to flourish and fulfil their potential academically and in their spiritual, social, moral, and cultural development. Understanding and promoting well-being and character development is very important to us at St Thomas'.

Alongside our vision, our school values of  EXCELLENCE   ENTHUSIASM   COMPASSION underpin everything that we do in school.
